Our government relationships are special because we understand the balance between government requirements and citizen relatability. Our longstanding relationship with the Port of Long Beach is a testament to our ongoing commitment to ensure their unparalleled services are understood, easily accessed and appreciated.
The Port of Long Beach, one of the world's busiest shipping hubs, needed to honor its rich legacy while leading the charge toward a more sustainable future. The port saw an opportunity to rebrand and tell a more modern story—one that reflected both its historic impact and its commitment to environmental innovation. But implementing a sweeping redesign across an organization with 11 distinct divisions and multiple layers of oversight, including the mayor’s office, required navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, rigorous operational standards, and the demands of a government-run entity.
Stellar partnered closely with the Port of Long Beach to create a new visual identity and website that symbolized progress, innovation, and environmental stewardship. We translated that into a front-end scalable content management digital ecosystem (CMS), including a redesigned website, omnichannel content tools, and an 80-inch interactive kiosk for the port’s headquarters. By bridging marketing priorities with technical requirements, we were able to streamline a slew of ongoing projects, including an impressive 80-inch interactive kiosk for the port’s headquarters. By designing flexible templates for future growth, we continue to help the port tell a unified, future-forward story—one that reaches audiences across web, mobile, social, and physical spaces with ease.
The Port of Long Beach is now well-equipped to tell its evolving story to its audiences including existing and prospective customers, community residents, industry, press, and internal stakeholders. Across an expanding range of digital channels and touchpoints, they now lead the logistics industry toward a greener future. They’ve seen a 50% increase in traffic to the Port’s website.
