As a leader in the international shipping community and the 2nd busiest port in the U.S., the Port of Long Beach (POLB) had a website that was no longer meeting its needs. The Port’s Communications team selected Stellar team to reimagine and redevelop its online presence. The Port is an incredibly vibrant and diverse place that must serve the needs of an equally vibrant and diverse network of partners that include government, business, community, trade unions and the scientific and educational communities.

We focused on identifying and enabling key user tasks for each of the Port’s audience segments. A role-based dashboard delivered a more effective and streamlined user experience. While an improved content structure and organization made the Port’s thousands of information resources easier for users to find and access. It was a win-win.

Stellar’s front- and back-end development teams created a modern, easy-to-manage site that met all of the comprehensive security, accessibility and usability standards required by the Port’s role as a municipal and public entity.
